   Rogene Baxter

    Founder, The Bridgewater Group

In 1986, Rogene founded The Bridgewater Group.  Her
     vision was twofold:
     1.  To establish a consulting firm to bring out the best
of people at work, namely, they would actively
participate in making the organization successful, and
would unleash a new-found enthusiasm for their
                                                          work.
     2.  To design learning systems for creating long-term results and impact on the
company's operations. This would be a very different approach from traditional
training models, which too often were implemented as a band-aid or "quick fix"
          to a problem

How has this vision played out? Rogene's work has brought increased organizational capacity and talent retention to companies across North America, Europe, the Middle East and Asia. She works collaboratively with client consultants and managers, to align their business goals and strategies, performance needs, professional development and performance support. Her consulting services and learning initiatives strengthen the way people work together, as they implement strategies in pursuit of organizational success.

Rogene is well known for her conference presentations. Her speaking engagements include international conferences of the American Society of Training and Development and the International Society for Performance and Instruction.

As an adjunct faculty member she has taught classes at John F. Kennedy University, Master of Business Administration and Career Development Master programs, and has lectured at the University of California Extension, Berkeley.

Rogene currently serves as President of the Institue of Management Consultants (IMC USA) Northern California Chapter. She has served on the following Boards: President of the Golden Gate Chapter of the American Society for Training and Development. the California Career Development Association, the Contact Care Center and the Board of Trustees of Moraga Valley Presbyterian Church Foundation.

A Registered Nurse, Ms. Baxter holds a BA in Behavioral Science and an MA in Career Development. She is a recipient of the prestigious "Alumna of the Year" award by John F. Kennedy University School of Business Administration.

Rogene was awarded the Certified Management Consultant (CMC) designation from the Institute of Management Consultants. This certification represents evidence of the highest standards of consulting and adherence to the ethical canons of the profession. Less than 1% of all consultants have achieved this level of performance.
